MAST is a state-of-the art decision support reporting system that works side-by-side with your existing LIS. It was designed specifically for clinical laboratories to track the vast amounts of already-available data in divergent information systems and produce reports necessary to be able to provide efficient, cost-effective and high-quality service. MAST enables laboratory managers and pathologists to make the right decisions.
Beginning with the initial test request from the physician and ending with report completion, information is generated and stored in the laboratory information system. MAST is able to retrieve this data, and upon demand, produce reports, graphs, and spreadsheets for decision-makers to analyze everything from service delivery, staffing requirements, and testing accountability. Answers are only several mouse clicks away. MAST is easy to use and has an intuitive Windows based interface; training takes 15 minutes.
